Clayton Bellamy CSA Client Biography

Brash and gutsy, this singer songwriters words and music are a unique blend of 70's classic rock and today's storytelling roots music. Invoking artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle and Tom Petty, Clayton thrives on blue-collar rock ‘n roll. Rising up from small town rural Alberta, he spent his formidable years playing music and racing semi-pro motto-cross. Eventually he went to college where he received his diploma in vocal performance and business.

His hard work and resourcefulness has earned him many industry acknowledgements from organizations such as the Canadian Organizations of Campus Activities and Canadian Music Week. The Alberta Recording Industry Association awarded Clayton with "Single of the Year" for "Running on Empty", and six nominations including "Best Artist, Album and Song Writer". The title track also garnered him top 40 spots on country, rock, and Americana radio across North America and Europe.

In the last five years Clayton had released three records and managed to climb his way to the top of the music industry ladder. His latest project "The Road Hammers" has proven itself more than successful with the most recent proof of being presented with a Gold Record for sales in Canada. Among all this success Clayton has still managed to find time to enter the studio with platinum selling artist/producer Gordie Johnson (Big Sugar). The new selection of Clayton Bellamy music will debut very soon to a huge new audience, but the philosophy will be the same. Real music, for real people.
